Job Title: Hadoop Developer
Location: Strongsville, OH (Onsite 5 Days)
Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Hadoop Developer to design, develop, and maintain big data solutions using the Hadoop ecosystem. The candidate will work with large datasets, build scalable data pipelines, and support analytics and reporting initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain Hadoop-based applications and data pipelines.
  • Process large datasets using Hadoop ecosystem tools such as HDFS, Hive, and Spark.
  • Write optimized Hive queries and Spark/MapReduce jobs.
  • Perform data ingestion, transformation, and loading (ETL) from multiple data sources.
  • Collaborate with data engineers, analysts, and business stakeholders to gather requirements.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve data processing and performance issues.
  • Ensure data quality, scalability, and reliability of big data solutions.
  • Work in Linux/Unix environments and manage data workflows.
Required Skills
  • Experience with Hadoop ecosystem tools (HDFS, Hive, Spark, MapReduce)
  • Strong SQL and data processing skills
  • Experience with data ingestion tools like Sqoop, Flume, or Kafka
