Job Summary:
Syntricate Technologies is seeking a Hadoop Platform Admin to support their Hadoop Big Data Platform. The role involves monitoring Hadoop clusters, implementing change tasks, and collaborating with vendors for issue resolution.
Responsibilities:
• Hadoop Admin, Hadoop Big Data Platform support, , Python, Linux, CA7, Monitoring tools like Dynatrace, Monpo, Logscale, Grafana.
• Hadoop Platform Admin: Hadoop Cluster monitoring, issue analysis and work with vendor/Cloudera if required.
• Change tasks implementation which includes permissions change, file deletion , folder creation, space cleanup, Prod and DR sync up, data transfer from QA to Prod and Prod to QA etc.
• Clear communication and the ability to understand and communicate business impacts.
• BigData and Hadoop Ecosystems, Python, Cloudera Hadoop Administrator
