Rate: $120K PA
We are looking for Hadoop Engineer. Prior working experience in Payments or e-commerce domain will be a plus.
Required Skills:
5+ years programming experience primarily in Java and/or Scala.
A solid foundation in common design patterns, algorithms and data structure
Conduct design and code reviews, fix bugs, monitor and resolve production issues.
Proficient understanding of distributed computing principles
Management of Hadoop cluster, with all included services
Proficiency with Hadoop, MapReduce, HDFS
Good knowledge of Big Data querying tools, such as Pig, Hive, and Impala
Experience with building stream-processing systems, using solutions such as Spark or Storm
Experience with NoSQL databases, such as Aerospike, HBase, Cassandra, MongoDB
Good communication skills
Good understanding of Agile methodology, software engineering best practice, capable of working in a globally distributed development team
