Description
This position will be responsible for data analysis, statistical modeling, visualizations, and data engineering to support data insights for the campus.
Examples of Duties
  • Extract and analyze data from the Banner ERP system and related data sources to fulfill internal data requests
  • Develop modeling frameworks for prediction, classification, and similar goals, utilizing machine learning models and artificial intelligence tools when appropriate
  • Design and develop dashboards, reports, and visualization using Power BI or other approved data visualization tools
  • Identify opportunities for enhancing data assets and propose innovative solutions
  • Translate business needs into technical solutions and provide data-driven recommendations
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and understand business challenges
  • Develop and maintain data models, data definitions, and documentation
  • Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and consistency across reports and systems
  • Automate and optimize recurring reports and analytical processes
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide regular updates to stakeholders
  • Support data governance and compliance initiatives
  • Other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Business Analytics, Computer Science, or a related field
  • Proficiency and experience with statistics and predictive analytics
  • Proficiency and experience with machine learning & deep learning models
  • Proficiency and experience with Python, R, SQL
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
