Job Description

We are currently looking for qualified applicants to interview for the position of Patient Care Coordinator - Medical Assistant.Applicant must be able to multi task and pay attention to detail.

Shift days and hours will be discussed during interview process.

Responsibilities include checking in and scheduling patients, chart prepping and confirming appointments as well as answering phones when needed and various medical record duties. Must be able to type.

Qualifications

To succeed in this role you offer strong verbal and written bilingual skills (English + additional language); at least 2 years of experience as a Sr. Medical Assistant / Receptionist; and experience working in a multi-specialty medical center (Front End Patient Care experience required). Verifies patient information by interviewing patient, recording medical history, and confirming purpose of visit. Prepares patients for examination by performing preliminary physical tests; taking blood pressure, weight, and temperature; and reporting patient history summary.Prior EHR experience a very strong plus
