Job description

This is a Range 1, part-time day-shift position (Mon, Wed, Th, Fri 7am - 11:45am, Tuesday 6am - 11:45am) and will close 6/12/2026
US Synthetic has an immediate need for a Receptionist located in Orem, UT. The Receptionist will act as the first point of contact for US Synthetic by creating a welcoming, professional environment and ensuring smooth front desk operations. The receptionist will interact with customers, suppliers, employees, etc. over the phone and in person. The receptionist will handle a variety of administrative and customer-facing responsibilities while supporting HR.

What You Will Do:
  • Politely answer phones, transfer calls and relay messages
  • Requires punctuality, reliability and professional appearance
  • Interact with walk-ins (i.e. customers, interviewees, suppliers, etc.) and ensure visitors policy is followed
  • Schedule conference rooms as requested
  • Manage golf, ski, pool passes, calendars, movie screens etc.
    • Help maintain rules on all passes
  • Sort and distribute mail
  • Organize and maintain office supply area
  • Assist HR with projects and tasks as needed, i.e. scheduling interviews, passing out gift cards, etc.
  • Pass out and receive US Synthetic gym waivers
  • Fulfill front desk duties by sorting and delivering mail, maintaining an organized and clean workspace and assisting HR as needed.
  • Learn and operate internal systems (phone system, visitor management, etc)
  • Follow all company policies (Attendance, No Tobacco Products on Campus, Illegal Drug & Alcohol, Family Medical Leave Act, Personal Appearance, Personal Electronic Devices, Vacation & Personal Time, etc.)

Minimum Qualifications:
  • High school diploma/GED is required
  • Visa sponsorship not available for this role
  • Needs to be flexible for occasional coverage of other shift.

Physical Demands:
  • Sit for up to eight hours
  • Repetitive motion
  • Use of required safety equipment (Safety glasses)
  • Frequent use of hands for typing and data entry (10 key)
  • Occasionally standing, walking, and light lifting
