JOB DESCRIPTION

The General Manager of Los Campeones Gym is responsible for the overall leadership, operations, team performance, member experience, and growth of their location. The GM takes ownership of the gym and ensures it consistently reflects the standards and culture of Los Campeones.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead, train, schedule, and hold employees accountable.

  • Maintain a strong, visible presence with members and staff.

  • Oversee daily gym operations and resolve issues quickly.

  • Ensure the facility is clean, organized, safe, and well maintained.

  • Manage equipment repairs, inventory, supplies, and vendors.

  • Oversee memberships, billing, payroll, scheduling, and operational systems.

  • Monitor membership growth and retention.

  • Develop local business partnerships and community relationships.

  • Manage expenses and make financially responsible decisions.

  • Delegate effectively while remaining accountable for results.

  • Communicate important issues and performance updates to ownership.

  • Protect and strengthen the Los Campeones culture and community.

A successful GM takes ownership, solves problems, develops their team, follows through, and gets results. The gym should operate at a high level without ownership needing to manage its daily activities.

REQUIREMENTS
  • Experience in the fitness industry, hospitality, retail, or a similar customer-focused business preferred.
  • 3+ years of management or leadership experience preferred.

  • Highly organized and able to manage multiple priorities.

  • Ability to identify problems and make sound decisions independently.
