President and General Manager - Paradigm Power Delivery
Company Overview

Position Summary
The President and General Manager is responsible for the overall leadership, growth, and financial performance (P&L) of the business, through driving the overall strategy, project execution, and operational excellence.
This role combines executive leadership to grow to business with technical oversight to ensure the successful delivery of complex infrastructure projects, development of high-performing teams, and achievement of long-term strategic growth objectives.
The Position will report to the Babcock Power CEO.
Key Responsibilities
Leadership & Business Management
  • Lead and manage all aspects of the Power Delivery business, including operations, engineering, business development, and financial performance.
  • Establish and execute annual and long-term growth strategies aligned with company objectives.
  • Drive accountability across teams through performance metrics, reporting, and continuous improvement.
  • Build and maintain a culture focused on safety, quality, and operational excellence.

Project Execution & Operations
  • Ensure successful execution of all projects, meeting safety, schedule, cost, and quality objectives.
  • Lead and collaborate with project management, estimating, procurement, and business development teams.
  • Ensure appropriate staffing, equipment, and resource levels to support operations are maintained.

Business Development & Strategy
  • Drive business development initiatives, including client relationships and new market opportunities, utilizing knowledge and proven success with completion of utility construction contracts.
  • Develop strategic partnerships and expand customer base while maintaining long-term relationships.
  • Participate in strategic planning and annual business strategy development.

Customer & Stakeholder Engagement
  • Maintain strong relationships with customers and ensure high levels of satisfaction.
  • Lead resolution of major project or client challenges while minimizing risk.
  • Represent the company in industry associations and external forums.

Requirements
Education & Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction, or Business Management.
  • 12+ years of experience in power delivery, including leadership roles with increasing responsibility.
  • Significant experience in engineering design, operations, and project execution.
  • Demonstrated P&L responsibility and executive leadership experience.
  • Electrical PE license preferred.

Technical Expertise
  • Deep knowledge of transmission, distribution, substations, and power systems.
  • Experience with utilities and power delivery projects.
  • Understanding of project management methodologies, including scheduling and risk management.

Additional Information
