Requirements:
To be seriously considered for this role, you'll need to have:
  • Education: High School Diploma required. Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration preferred.
  • Experience: 3-5 years of experience in a medical office setting and at least 1 year of practice supervision and personnel management in a similarmedical clinic environment. Proficiency in electronic health record management systems. Experience in medical billing, benefit verification, and authorization. Exceptional organizational and time management skills. In-depth knowledge of applicable healthcare regulations. Excellent leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills. Clerical skills of typing, filing, phone reception, and scheduling. Management skills of organization, interpersonal communication skills, mediation and negotiation, and independent decision-making. Active knowledge of and participation in community.

Responsibilities:
We are committed to improving the health of our community by delivering exceptional care and services. As part of the team in the GVH Rehab Department this team member:
  • Develops and implements front office team goals, plans, and standards consistent with the clinical, administrative, legal, and ethical requirements/objectives of the organization
  • Directs and evaluates front desk team operations, including information technologies, complaint management, and answering billing questions, to achieve performance and quality control objectives
  • Plans and monitors staffing activities, this includes hiring, orienting, evaluating, and helping with the team's professional growth and development
  • Coordinates and directs internal/external audits
  • Leads and manages the activities of the front desk operations at GVH to include planning, supervising, organizing, controlling and evaluating front office staff
  • Recruits, hires and trains new staff
  • Evaluates and optimizes staff performance, one-on-one's, and supports day to day operations
  • Schedules and oversees front office staff
  • Updates office procedures: keeps office procedures fresh and efficient, seeks staff input regarding decisions that impact their work, and works with rehab director to implement improvements as necessary.
  • Takes accountability for internal and external customer service and service excellence, including troubleshooting when there is a complaint and proactively seeking process improvement.

Compensation: $23.06 - $28.820/hr, depending on experience.

Full Time staff are automatically enrolled in 401A plan as of date of hire.
Life and AD&D insurance: All active employees working 40 or more hours per pay period are eligible for benefits on the first of the month after hire date.
Short-term and long-term disability: All active employees working 60 or more hours per pay period are eligible for benefits on the first of the month after hire date.
