Job Description

The key role of this position will be repairing, customizing, and servicing customers firearms on a high-volume basis. He or she will be expected to handle customer’s issues or questions such as writing in firearms that need repair, communicating to customers where their firearm is in the repair processes, and all other gunsmithing customer communication. It is required that the candidate has previous gunsmithing experience and a wide range of firearm knowledge. Williams Gun Sight is one of the leading gunsmithing repair centers in Mid-Michigan so we are looking for highly qualified individuals.

Applicant Requirements/Skills

  • Must have gunsmithing experience.
  • Highly recommended to have graduated from a qualified gunsmithing school.
  • Must have advanced firearm knowledge to service a wide range of firearms.
  • Must have positive customer relation skills.
  • Must be proficient with basic computer skills.
  • Must be at least a high school graduate.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Must be fluent in speaking and writing English.

Physical Demands

  • Employee must possess the physical requirements to perform gunsmithing activates listed above.
  • Employee must be physically able to stand, walk, and/or sit for a period of time.
  • Employee must be able to lift up to 25 lbs comfortably.
