Main Purpose:
The main purpose of the Cleaning and Environmental Technician is to execute Cleaning and Environmental project work assignments inland and offshore.
Essential Functions:
  • Work on land and offshore (GOA)
  • Work loading and unloading materials
  • Enter offshore tanks and remove products by handling hoses and pumps
  • Clean offshore tanks after the removal of products
  • Effectively apply company policy and procedures and enforces project standards
  • Complete all required training
  • Participate in Gulf Island safety program
  • Work On Call, includingnights, weekends and holidays
  • Perform other duties assigned by supervisor

Requirements
Physical Requirements:
  • Standing, sitting, walking, stooping, kneeling, climbing, talking, hearing and seeing
  • Turning, twisting and bending
  • Pushing, pulling and reaching
  • Must be able to lift and/or move 25-50 pounds

Job Requirements:
  • 2+ years offshore experience
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing
  • This position is On Call, working nights, weekends and holidays is a requirement
  • Valid Driver's License
  • Must be able to pass MVR check
  • Must be able to pass T-Huet (Water Survival Training)
  • Must be able to pass pre-employment drug screen and physical
  • Must be able to pass a background check
  • Must have Valid TWIC card

Desirable Experience, Education, and Training:
  • High School Diploma or GED

Environmental Conditions:
80 to 90% of the work activities are performed outdoors. Individuals will be required to work in changes of temperature, hot, cold, humid, wet, and dry conditions, dust, mud, etc.
