We are building a brand with real momentum. Our product is landing in more stores, showing up at more events, and becoming part of more conversations every day. From retail expansion and national accounts to partnerships, tastings, sponsorships, community events, and our upcoming Series A financing, this role puts you close to the work behind a brand people are genuinely excited about.


You will work directly with the General Counsel across a group of companies under common ownership, including Once Upon a Coconut, Q1, a major wireless distribution and technology business, and B.C. Rich Guitars, the legendary brand behind some of the most iconic guitars in rock and roll.


We are looking for someone sharp, organized, efficient, detail-oriented, and curious. The right person follows through, takes ownership, communicates clearly, and is excited to use technology and AI tools to help build a smarter, faster legal function.


Responsibilities

  • Support the General Counsel with legal deadlines, reminders, follow-ups, and action items.
  • Assist with corporate records, entity maintenance, annual reports, and state filings.
  • Help draft, review, organize, and manage contracts, including NDAs, vendor agreements, distribution agreements, sponsorship agreements, and customer contracts.
  • Prepare and track DocuSign and other signature requests.
  • Maintain organized legal files, templates, contracts, corporate records, and key documents.
  • Track contract obligations, renewal dates, expiration dates, and notice deadlines.
  • Coordinate with outside counsel, internal teams, vendors, and counterparties.
  • Assist with trademarks, compliance, litigation support, and special projects as needed.
  • Use technology and AI tools to improve organization, drafting, tracking, and recurring workflows.
  • Support affiliated entities and other legal or business matters as needed.


Skills and Qualifications

  • Three (3) to five (5) years of paralegal experience preferred.
  • In-house, corporate/commercial law firm, CPG, beverage, distribution, or multi-entity experience is a plus.
  • Strong organization, attention to detail, and follow-through.
  • Clear and concise written communication.
  • Ability to manage multiple workstreams and deadlines.
  • Proactive, reliable, and willing to take ownership of tasks.
  • Comfortable learning and using AI tools and new technology.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, DocuSign, and document management systems.


Education and Certifications

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Paralegal certificate preferred, but not required.
