About the Role 


We are looking for an experienced PolicyCenter & ClaimCenter Developer with strong hands-on experience in the Guidewire platform. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, configuring, integrating, and supporting Guidewire PolicyCenter and ClaimCenter solutions for insurance applications. 


Key Responsibilities 

  • Develop and configure Guidewire PolicyCenter and ClaimCenter applications. 
  • Work on Guidewire configuration, customization, workflows, rules, UI, and integrations. 
  • Develop solutions using Gosu and Guidewire application frameworks. 
  • Configure policy, product, underwriting, claims, billing, and related insurance processes. 
  • Develop and maintain integrations with external systems using REST/SOAP APIs
  • Analyze business requirements and translate them into scalable technical solutions. 
  • Participate in design, development, code reviews, testing, debugging, and production support. 
  • Troubleshoot application and integration issues and provide timely resolutions. 
  • Work with QA, business analysts, architects, and other development teams. 
  • Follow coding standards, security practices, and Guidewire development best practices. 
  • Support Guidewire upgrades, deployments, and production releases where required. 


Required Skills 

  • 4+ years of experience in Guidewire development
  • Strong hands-on experience with PolicyCenter and/or ClaimCenter
  • Strong knowledge of Gosu programming
  • Experience with Guidewire configuration and customization. 
  • Experience with Guidewire integrations and APIs
  • Strong understanding of insurance domain concepts, particularly policy and claims processes. 
  • Experience with REST/SOAP, XML, JSON, and integration frameworks. 
  • Good knowledge of SQL and relational databases
  • Experience with Git and CI/CD processes. 
  • Strong debugging and problem-solving skills. 

Preferred Skills 

  • Experience with both PolicyCenter and ClaimCenter
  • Guidewire certification is a plus. 
  • Experience with Guidewire cloud or Guidewire Cloud Platform
  • Experience with Guidewire version upgrades/migrations. 
  • Knowledge of BillingCenter is a plus. 
  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments. 
  • Experience working with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure is a plus.

  • The ideal candidate is a hands-on Guidewire developer who can independently work on PolicyCenter and ClaimCenter configuration, Gosu development, integrations, troubleshooting, and production support, while collaborating effectively with technical and business teams.
