Hacienda Del Sol Guest Ranch Resort is an historic luxury resort located at the foothills of the Catalina Mountains in Tucson, Arizona. Featuring scenic guest rooms, exquisite dining options, and rejuvenating Spa services delivered with Forbes Recommended service. Summary: The Bartender provides friendly, attentive, and exceptional service to all guests. Responsible for preparing and serving beverages accurately and efficiently while supporting beverage servers and maintaining a welcoming, organized bar environment. The Bartender helps create a positive guest experience through professionalism, consistency, and genuine hospitality.

This is a full-time, hourly, tipped position offering competitive compensation. Benefits include exclusive resort discounts, medical, dental, and life insurance.
Essential Duties
  • Ensure responsible service of alcoholic beverages to all and intervenes as need in accordance to standards
  • Requires evidence of age of anyone who appears to be under the age of thirty (30)
  • Prepare drink orders according to specified recipes using measuring systems
  • Issue, open, and serve wine/champagne bottles
  • Attend to tables in the dining area
  • Set up and maintain cleanliness and condition of bar, bar unit, tables, and other tools
  • Prepare fresh garnishes for drinks
  • Stock ice, glassware, and paper supplies, Restock bar with liquor and supplies, Transport supplies to bar set-up area, Wash soiled glassware
  • Remove soiled wares from bar top and tables and place in designated area
  • Anticipate and communicate replenishment needs
  • Process all payment methods
  • Count bank at end of shift, complete designated cashier reports, resolve any discrepancies, drop off receipts, and secure bank
  • Secure liquors, beers, wines, coolers, cabinets, and storage areas
  • Follow all company and safety and security policies and procedures; report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to manager; and complete safety training and certifications
  • Welcome and acknowledge all according to company standards, anticipate and address service needs, and thank all with genuine appreciation
  • Develop and maintain positive working relationships with others, support team to reach common goals, and listen and respond appropriately to the concerns of other employees
  • Ensure adherence to quality expectations and standards.

Qualifications:
  • Must have full service bar experience
  • Basic math skills add, subtract, multiply, and divide
  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, to communicate with guests and associates
  • Able to work in high pressure and fast paced situations
  • May be required to work varying schedules to include nights, weekends, and holidays
