Substation/Controls Engineer Assistant I/II

Salary Range: $49,836.80 - $96,408.00
Anticipated Hiring Range: $49,836.80 - $79,310.40 (commensurate with skills and experience)
Job Duties:
Under general supervision, performs technical engineering duties in the planning, design, and implementation of substation projects-including construction, control system and protective relay installation and maintenance, and diagnostic troubleshooting-while assisting with the installation and maintenance of commission communications systems (radio, LAN/WAN, fiber optic, and SCADA) and reviewing system load reports and events affecting electric system reliability and performance.

Salary Range: $49,836.80 - $77,272.00
Anticipated Hiring Range: $49,836.80 - $63,564.80 (commensurate with skills and experience)
Minimum Requirements:
  • Over one year of experience
  • Valid Driver's License
  • Associate degree in Electronic, Industrial, or Electric Systems Engineering Technology

Preferred:
  • BS in Engineering, Engineering Technology, or Industrial Technology
