The Unarmed Security Guard at Hard Rock Hotel & Casino is more than a patrol officer-you are a Guest Experience Guardian and a Security Ambassador. Your primary mission is to cultivate a safe, welcoming, and high-energy environment for every guest and employee.
You will be the eyes and ears patrolling our dynamic properties, from the bustling casino floor and vibrant hotel spaces to the parking lots. This role blends vigilant security work-detecting suspicious activity, enforcing policies, and protecting assets-with exceptional guest service, providing assistance, directions, and essential aid (including CPR/First Aid) during incidents.

Company:Cherokee Nation Entertainment

  • High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED).
  • This is an entry-level position with little to no previous work experience required.
  • State of Oklahoma Council of Law Enforcement, Education, and Training (CLEET) unarmed security guard license required within 180 days of hire.
  • CPR certification required.
  • Working knowledge of defensive tactics.
  • Working knowledge of surveillance video systems and how to maintain the chain of evidence.
  • Ability to pass a security-approved custody control test.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain licensing by the appropriate gaming authority.
  • Must have and maintain a valid driver's license. 
  • Protect the physical assets of CNE properties and ensure guest and employee safety.
  • Prevent guests from entering with prohibited items and address policy violations.
  • Patrol CNE facilities, including casinos, smoke shops, and parking lots.
  • Greet and assist guests and respond to their queries.
  • Render first aid and aid in accidents and incidents.
  • Detect and report suspicious activities and behavior.
  • Maintain relationships with local law enforcement.
  • Write detailed reports on incidents and investigations.
  • Ensure compliance with age requirements and CNE policies.
  • Assist with entry into gaming machines and escort employees as needed.
  • Interview witnesses and prepare investigation reports.
  • Maintain a good working knowledge of defensive tactics and surveillance systems.
