Location: Engel Haus - Albertville, MN
Salary Range: $18.72 - $21.58 (Based on Experience)

Schedule:
  • 10am - 2pm Schedule
  • Part time, working 40 hours per pay period (2 Weeks).
  • Must be available to work every other weekend (Saturday/Sunday) and holiday.
Position Summary:
Responsible for the cleanliness of the physical plant and the environment, including the fixtures, furniture, and equipment. The building is to be maintained in an orderly, clean, safe, and sanitary state at all times. Responsible for work supplies and tools to ensure that resources are used wisely. Supports and implements all safety practices. Services are provided in accordance with the mission of Guardian Angels.
Job Duties:
  • Performs cleaning duties in resident apartments and common areas according to Housekeeping Policies and Procedures.
  • Report any repairs needed to Maintenance Department.
  • Clean equipment and work areas daily.
  • Attend in-service education classes.
  • Use supplies and equipment as necessary following directions.
  • To assist in providing a dignified, respectful, resident-centered environment for residents.
  • Follows universal precautions, facility infection control guidelines, sanitation and safety standards of practice in all work and activities.
  • All duties will be performed in accordance with current standards, guidelines, state and federal regulations.
  • Uphold confidential information as required by Guardian Angels policy and procedure and as related to HIPAA.
  • Uphold the mission, vision, and values of Guardian Angels.
  • Perform all other duties as assigned by Maintenance Supervisor.

Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Must be at least 16 years old.
  • Prior housekeeping experience is preferred.
  • Excellent verbal and written (read, write) communication skills.
  • Must work holiday rotation.
  • Self-motivated, ability to prioritize.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality at all times.
  • Maintains good attendance and punctuality.
