What does a Mobile Field Supervisor in downtown Calgary do?

  • Supervise and support security guards and site personnel across multiple client locations.
  • Conduct regular site visits and inspections to ensure compliance with GardaWorld policies, client requirements, and security procedures.
  • Build and maintain positive client relationships through site visits.
  • Conduct toolbox talks, training sessions, and safety briefings.
  • Responded to emergencies, security incidents, and client concerns in a timely and professional manner.
  • Coordinate and oversee Mobile Patrol operations - ensuring patrol officers complete assigned routes, inspections, and security checks effectively.
  • Manage alarm response activities, dispatching personnel to alarm activations
  • Prepare incident, inspection, and operational reports in a timely and accurate manner.

Qualifications required for a Field Supervisor in Calgary 

  • Post-secondary level or equivalent work experience.
  • Valid Alberta Security License
  • Full class 5 advanced drivers license and clean drivers abstract
  • A diploma from a recognized institution in Security technology or equivalent would be an asset.
  • Minimum 2+ years in a physical security environment.
  • Certified Protection Officer (CPO) designation or equivalent would be a strong asset.
  • Time Management skills.
  • Professional and self motivated.
  • Superior customer service / interpersonal skills
  • Superior communication skills (verbal / written)
  • Able to work in a team environment or independently as required.
  • Excellent MSOffice skills.
  • Strong Interpersonal relationship skills.
  • Must be flexible to work afternoon shifts
