Job Description:
Parsons is looking for an amazingly talentedAEGIS Systems Engineer - Guam to join our team! In this role you will be part of a talented and mission oriented professional team of federal engineers, active-duty Naval Officers and Contract staff who are willing to roll up their sleeves and get missile defense capability out to the Fleet. You will also be part of a team of some of the best and brightest Engineers and scientists our country has to offer.
What You'll Be Doing:
  • Execute the strategic planning, procurement, and integration of all Aegis Weapon System equipment required for the Aegis Guam System (AGS).
  • Responsible for integration and support as an element within the Defense of Guam system of systems.
  • Lead the coordination for integration, test, and deployment, from what was the Flight Experiment Mission-02 (FEM-02) Initial Deployment Aegis Guam System (IDAGS) to what is now required as an operational installation configuration, and the upcoming installation of the more complex AGS Initial Operational Capability (IOC) with equipment dispersed across the entirety of the island of Guam.
  • Manage the very complex AGS Sites Equipment List (SEL), develop and review Statements of Work (SOWs), and coordinate with Program Acquisition Resource Managers (PARMs), prime contractors, and various government agencies to ensure the timely and cost-effective procurement of critical hardware.
  • Spearhead technical interchange meetings to ensure AGS equipment is properly integrated into site facilities, conduct risk assessments for hardware and logistics, analyze courses of action for equipment and facility design, and provide equipment placement verification for optimal employment.

What Required Skills You'll Bring:
  • US Citizenship with Active Secret Clearance
  • Bachelor's Degree in STEM field and 7+ years of relevant experience
  • Mastery of MS Office suite and familiarity with collaborative tools such as Jira, Confluence or Teams
  • Aegis Weapon System Experience

What Desired Skills You'll Bring:
  • Active TS/SCI Clearance
  • Prior experience with Weapons Systems Deployment
  • Experience with Missile Systems Engineering
  • Technical experience in one of the following areas: Fleet operations, systems engineering, missile systems, Aegis Qualifications, etc.

An active Secret security clearance is required for this position.
