Job description

GENERAL DESCRIPTION
  • Tyonek is seeking individuals to instruct Military and Government Civilian students in Defensive Cyber Operations skills. Cyber Instructors must pass the course they are hired to instruct in; courses range from 2 weeks to 9 weeks in length. Cyber Instructors must pass a 2-week Instructor Methodology Course (how to be an instructor). Cyber Instructors must pass Instructor evaluations to become qualified as an instructor and maintain qualification.

DUTIES
  • Instruct lessons in course assigned. Most lessons are team-taught with 1 primary and 2 - 3 supporting instructors to facilitate students during labs.
  • In-depth knowledge (subject matter expertise) of lessons is required to maintain instructor qualification.
  • Develop new and/or update existing lessons as assigned.
  • Other Duties as assigned

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
  • A minimum of an Associate's degree in a related area is required.
  • A minimum of 3 years' experience in the field of Cyber Warfare/ Defensive Cyber Operations is desired.
  • IAT/M Level II certification is required within 90 days.
  • AF Cyber Weapon System experience and/or Cyber Protection Team Experience is preferred
  • Top Secret Clearance/SCI required
  • The following certifications are desired: GNFA, GCIH, GSEC, CISSP, CASP, Sec+
