Growth Strategy Manager

Universal City, CA (Hybrid: Monday-Thursday Onsite, 9am-5pm PT)

Hybrid Role

Contract (6 months, potential for FTE conversion)

ABOUT THE ROLE

Our client, a leader in the streaming industry, is seeking a highly analytical and proactive Growth Strategy Manager for a 6-month contract position with potential for full-time conversion, based in Universal City, CA. This hybrid role supports the Growth Opportunities and Strategy team, working closely with senior leadership (primarily the Director) to identify, evaluate, and execute new growth initiatives within the streaming ecosystem. You will structure analyses, develop business cases, assess new business models and partnerships, and drive cross-functional workstreams from concept through execution. This position is ideal for someone who thrives in ambiguous environments, is eager to build strategic frameworks, and can translate data into actionable insights in a fast-paced, collaborative setting. A passion for entertainment, media, or technology and a keen awareness of industry trends are essential.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • Support the identification, structuring, and assessment of new growth opportunities, including new business models, membership or loyalty concepts, and adjacent revenue streams
  • Partner closely with the Director to develop and refine strategic frameworks for evaluating opportunity sizing, subscriber impact, and financial outcomes
  • Contribute to the evaluation of partnership opportunities by conducting research, building supporting analyses, and assessing strategic fit, value creation, and risks
  • Build rigorous business cases and strategic memos that synthesize quantitative and qualitative inputs to support decision-making
  • Support vendor and partner evaluations, including market scans, benchmarking, and financial impact analysis
  • Contribute to the conceptual design of new pricing tests and growth initiatives, supporting hypothesis development and prioritization
  • Drive key components of cross-functional workstreams, coordinating with stakeholders across Product, Marketing, Finance, Partnerships, and Operations
  • Analyze and synthesize insights from tests, initiatives, and market trends into actionable recommendations and post-mortem evaluations
  • Contribute to the development of executive-ready materials, including presentations, memos, and leadership briefings

WHAT YOU BRING

  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business, or an analytical field
  • 3+ years of experience in strategy, business analysis, pricing, or growth, ideally within the streaming, subscription, or digital consumer space
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (especially PowerPoint and Excel)
  • Experience crafting business cases and strategic recommendations using both quantitative and qualitative data
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to work cross-functionally and influence stakeholders without direct authority
  • Detail-oriented, organized, and adaptable in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
  • Passion for entertainment, media, technology, or pricing, with awareness of current industry trends
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills with diverse stakeholders
  • Flexible, open-minded, and results-oriented with high attention to detail
  • Experience with industry software such as Airtable (preferred)
