Job Description

Coffman Engineers is seeking a highly skilled, self-motivated, organized, and detail-oriented Project Coordinator with an interest in working with professionals on challenging projects providing project-related administrative support. You will have the opportunity to support projects and team members across various disciplines. The successful candidate will be an outgoing and enthusiastic self-starter, with a desire to work and grow with a multidiscipline engineering team and be willing to have fun!
Qualifications
  • High school diploma required; associate or bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple complex tasks simultaneously.
  • Strong critical thinking, organizational, and analytical skills.
  • High attention to detail with a strong commitment to accuracy.
  • Ability to maintain positive working relationships with internal and external clients.
  • Effective verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel preferred.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Experience coordinating with a multi-discipline design team preferred.
  • Excellent time-management skills.
  • Positive attitude with a focus on team collaboration and client success.

Job Specifications
  • Complete and track tasks requiring specialized technical knowledge of the AEC industry.
  • Serve as a liaison between the Project Manager and other internal staff, as needed.
  • Assist with drafting project documents, proposals, and correspondence; communicate with staff, clients, and teaming partners as appropriate.
  • Research and help resolve billing questions and issues, both internally and externally.
  • File, track, review, and organize Master Service Agreements and Term Contracts; notify Project Managers of issues as appropriate.
  • Coordinate with Project Managers regarding required contract and project documentation.
  • Prepare and review cost reports to track labor, travel, materials, and other project expenses.
  • Interface with key stakeholders, including Project Managers, clients, and Accounting, as directed.
  • Assist with project submittals, deliverables, and other project documentation.
  • Support project teams with close-out requirements to ensure timely project completion.
  • Assist with meeting documentation, specifications, and general word processing, as needed.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Expected annual salary range depending on experience: $62,000-$68,000
