Clear Behavioral Health is dedicated to supporting individuals facing mental health and substance use challenges through compassionate, holistic, and evidence-based care. We provide a full continuum of services, including detox, dual diagnosis treatment, residential and outpatient programs, and specialized mental health services, all delivered by a multidisciplinary team of experienced clinicians and support professionals. Our person-centered approach focuses on treating the whole individual, while empowering clients with the tools, structure, and support needed to achieve long-term recovery and lasting stability

Summary of Position

The Program Manager supports the day-to-day operations of the program, ensuring the effective delivery of high-quality clinical treatment. This role is responsible for assisting program staff, maintaining compliance with regulatory standards, and fostering a safe and efficient environment for employees, clients, and visitors. The Program Manager works closely with leadership to implement best practices, support staff development, and oversee program logistics.

Essential Responsibilities

Program Operations & Compliance

  • Support the Program Director in overseeing daily program operations and ensuring smooth workflow across departments.
  • Assist in maintaining compliance with Joint Commission (JCAHO) standards and State of California regulations.
  • Monitor program schedules to ensure clients meet treatment requirements.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation related to program activities and client services.

Staff Supervision & Development

  • Provide guidance, support, and training to program staff, including counselors and therapists.
  • Assist with performance evaluations and provide feedback to improve service quality.
  • Participate in weekly treatment planning meetings and ensure effective coordination of care.
  • Support the hiring, onboarding, and training of new staff.

Client & Referral Coordination

  • Ensure seamless communication with referral sources, outside treatment agencies, and sober living facilities.
  • Facilitate communication between clients, families, and program staff to enhance treatment outcomes.
  • Assist with intervention efforts as needed for client crises or at-risk situations.

Administrative & Facility Oversight

  • Work with the Program Director and Clinical Director to maintain program effectiveness and address operational needs.
  • Monitor facility maintenance to ensure compliance with company standards and safety regulations.
  • Assist in coordinating external facilitators for clinical and experiential group sessions.
  • Oversee documentation and communication logs for accuracy and program compliance.

Other Responsibilities

  • Participate in on-call rotation for clinical emergencies as needed.
  • Review and verify staff timecards before payroll submission.
  • Support continuous program improvements and implement best practices under the direction of leadership.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Program Director or Operations Director.

Education & Experience

  • Substance Use Disorder Certified Counselor (SUDCC), Registered Addiction Counselor (RAC) registration credential or equivalent preferred.
  • 3+ years of experience in behavioral health, addiction treatment, or mental health services.
  • Valid Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation ("CPR") and First Aid Card.
  • Successful clearance of pre-employment health screening.
  • Current Tuberculosis ("TB") or X-Ray clearance.
  • Successful clearance of Department of Health Care Services ("DHCS") and Guardian.

Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour

Schedule: Monday through Friday
