About the role:

Boston Scientific is seeking a Group Manager, Learning Technology & Operations to lead the strategy, execution, and continuous improvement of digital learning platforms, multimedia learning solutions, training operations, and onboarding administration in support of the Endoscopy Sales Training organization. This role will help advance how we design, deliver, scale, and measure training that supports field readiness, clinical competency, sales execution, and commercial impact.

This leader will manage a blended team supporting learning technology, LMS/ALM administration, multimedia and creative services, and onboarding operations. The ideal candidate brings strong people leadership, project management, vendor management, technology integration, and stakeholder collaboration skills, with a passion for using digital tools, AI-enabled solutions, and scalable processes to improve the learner experience and drive measurable business value.

The Group Manager will serve as both strategist and program driver, ensuring initiatives move from concept to measurable impact while maintaining alignment with Boston Scientific quality, compliance, privacy, procurement, and brand requirements.

Work Model, Sponsorship, and Relocation

At Boston Scientific, we value collaboration and synergy. This role follows a hybrid work model requiring employees to be in our local office at least three days per week.

Your responsibilities will include:

● Lead the strategy, implementation, adoption, and sustainment of learning technology platforms and digital tools that support Sales Training priorities.

● Manage a team responsible for learning technology, LMS/ALM administration, multimedia production, creative services, and onboarding administration.

● Partner with Sales Training leaders, Instructional Designers, Marketing, IT, Procurement, Legal, Regulatory, Finance, HR, and external vendors to deliver integrated training solutions.

● Oversee multimedia and digital learning asset development, ensuring content is engaging, accessible, brand-aligned, compliant, and connected to training objectives.

● Drive project planning and execution for complex training technology initiatives, including timelines, scope, stakeholder alignment, communication, risk management, and success metrics.

● Manage vendor relationships, platform contracts, software renewals, licensing, budgets, and business cases in partnership with internal stakeholders.

● Establish consistent onboarding administration processes, service expectations, reporting, and operational support models to improve the new hire experience.

● Measure platform utilization, learner experience, process effectiveness, and business impact to inform future investment and continuous improvement decisions.

Required qualifications:

● Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree preferred in Learning Technology, Adult Learning, Business, Communications, Project Management, IT or a related field.

● Minimum of 3-5+ years of experience managing learning technology, training operations, commercial enablement, multimedia, or related programs.

● Prior people manager experience required, with 3-5 years of demonstrated success leading a blended or cross-functional team.

● Experience with LMS/ALM platforms, digital learning tools, multimedia production workflows, learning administration, and project management practices.

● Strong ability to manage vendors, budgets, contracts, software renewals, stakeholder expectations, and cross-functional initiatives.

● Demonstrated ability to influence across functions, communicate clearly with senior stakeholders, and connect learning solutions to sales readiness and commercial priorities.

● Medical device, field sales, sales training, or commercial enablement experience preferred.

● AI/Data/Tech skillsets are a requirement. Preferably demonstrated deployment into a workflow or process.

Preferred Requirements:

● Experience with platforms such as Adobe Learning Manager, SAP, Articulate 360, Adobe Creative Suite, Power BI, Smartsheet, Salesforce, Showpad, Mindtickle, SharePoint, or similar systems.

● Demonstrated success using AI technologies, including Microsoft Copilot, Claude, ChatGPT, AI-enabled learning tools, adaptive learning, coaching platforms, automation, analytics, or digital sales enablement tools.

● Strong project management, change leadership, communication, prioritization, and operational excellence skills.
