JOB SUMMARY
• The Operations Manager for the NorCal division has the ultimate accountability for implementation, operations, scheduling, warehouse, production and customer care departments including their workflow, compliance with process, and issue resolution. This role reports to the VP of Operations.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
• Oversee jobsite field management team, service technicians, employee and subcontract installers for all trades.
• Partner with Director of Production for recruiting, training and maintaining a quality-oriented dependable installer base to meet the growth goals for the Northern California division.
• Oversee safety training and communications for all associates. Monitor subcontractors' safety compliance. Ensure all reporting and safety required documents are kept up to date.
• Lead point of contact liaison with the VP of Operations, Controller, and Human Resources for all issue and process gaps stemming from Sacramento region.
• Conduct regular meetings/check ins with line level staff/department managers to ensure accurate assessment of workload, process compliance, and other needs.
• Embodying the "Shining the Wheel" process for the Sacramento Division, including teaching and growing the team members understanding and compliance to such.
• Attend Builder meetings and functions with Executive Vice President of Sales as needed to ensure operational responsibilities can be properly implemented and maintained.
• Work with the VP of Operations and EVP of Sales to implement, execute and expand all Vintage Design trade-based opportunities. (Cabinets, Counter tops, surrounds, flooring, window coverings, design center services)
• Oversee the review of all job cost reports. Offer ideas and implementation strategies to save costs and increase margins. May also include working closely with Finance and Accounting teams.
• Work closely with the VP of Operations, to job forecast current and future volume.
• Work closely with the Vintage Design customer service management team to implement best practice across all customer facing interactions.
• Oversee warehouse optimization best practice process to best utilize resources for maximum warehouse operational efficiency including Inventory control.
• Oversee best practice production process flow from order creation through final quality walk.
• Develop strategies and metrics to ensure customer expectations are met.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES This position carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with company guidelines, policies and procedures, and applicable laws. Supervisory responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
• Oversee the Sacramento Operations, and lead the team to delegate to line managers, provide guidance, training, and performance feedback to ensure high-quality work and professional development.
