Job description

Paragon Motor Group is a growing automotive dealership specializing in enthusiast, luxury, exotic, and performance vehicles. We are looking for an experienced, highly organized Director of Operations to oversee the administrative and operational side of the dealership.

This is a key leadership role designed to keep the business organized, compliant, and running efficiently while allowing our sales team to remain focused on buying and selling vehicles.


Responsibilities

  • Manage vehicle title work, registrations, payoffs, lien releases, and related documentation
  • Maintain complete and accurate deal jackets for all vehicle transactions
  • Ensure dealership transactions and records remain compliant with applicable state and federal requirements
  • Coordinate with title agencies, lenders, banks, customers, vendors, and other third parties
  • Manage vehicle transportation and logistics, including inbound and outbound shipping
  • Coordinate vehicle intake and ensure necessary documentation is received and organized
  • Track purchase agreements, consignment agreements, bills of sale, powers of attorney, and other dealership documents
  • Maintain organized digital and physical records
  • Track dealership expenses, invoices, payments, and operational costs
  • Work closely with the company's CPA/bookkeeping team to maintain accurate financial records
  • Assist with dealership license renewals, permits, insurance documentation, and compliance requirements
  • Help develop and improve internal processes as the company continues to grow
  • Handle operational issues quickly and professionally
  • Support ownership and the sales team with day-to-day dealership operations


Qualifications

  • Previous automotive dealership experience strongly preferred
  • Experience with automotive title work, dealership administration, compliance, or accounting is highly preferred
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to manage multiple transactions and deadlines simultaneously
  • Comfortable working independently and taking ownership of responsibilities
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Professional when communicating with high-value clients, lenders, vendors, and business partners
  • Proficient with computers, document management, spreadsheets, and dealership software
  • Ability to identify problems and create efficient solutions
  • Experience working in a fast-paced or growing business environment is a plus
