Purpose Statement

To clarify and enhance the Line Lead ability to conduct His /Hers daily activities, to accomplish Rich Products Corp. objectives.
To provide the Customer with the best product, value and service as possible.
To provide a safe and clean environment that promotes Quality, Productivity, and a Healthy Rich Products Corp.

Key Accountabilities and Outcomes
  • Oversees the daily production schedule execution. Ensuring that it is manufactured in compliance with the Specifications set forth by the Customer and GBI.
  • Maintaining or exceeding manufacturing Standards, Yields and Efficiencies.
  • Promotes Continuous Improvement Process throughout the facility. 
  • Promotes Quality of Work Life for all employees. 
  • Ensures that all required documentation for production records is completed according to GBI policies. 
  • Train line employees on Rules and Regulations, Safety, Good Manufacturing Practices, Standard Operating Procedures, and Job Expectations. 
  • Resolves any employee issues through grievance process. Recommends Recognitions, Promotions, or disciplinary actions based on Employee performance. 
  • Attend and complete any RPC sponsored Training.
    Specific Responsibilities:  
  • Specific responsibilities include but are not limited to:
  • Assures that all Good Manufacturing Practices take place, before, and during the process. 
  • Assures and verifies that all production is within the department's budgetary standards.
  • Sets up all computer controlled equipment. 
  • Documents any changes or issues during production.
  • Plans in advance for employee's vacations, to ensure continuity and a full staff.  
  • Maintain and Promote Open Communication Channels and Open Door Policy at all levels. 
  • Makes SAFETY a priority, while carrying out his /her daily activities. 
  • Reports any unsafe acts or conditions to immediate superior. 
  • Monitors employee performance and compliance with Company Rules and Policies, Safety Rules, Good Manufacturing Practices, and Standard Operating Procedures. 
  • Owns line performance data- stops,MTBF*, Performance loss, toplosses. 
  • Analyses line data to identify andprioritize loss eliminationopportunities. 
  • He / She is theCenterline systemowner. 
  • Identifies root cause problem solvingopportunities on key chronic lossesfor the line. 
Knowledge, Skills, and Experience
  • High school graduate or equivalent (GED)  
  • 3 years of Food Manufacturing experience (Minimum) 
  • 1 year as crew leader (Minimum) 
  • Strong math skills 
  • Speak, read, and write English  
  • Basic computer skills 
  • Effective Communication Skills  
  • Problem solving skills 
  • Ability to operate machinery and equipment 
  • Ability to document and measure results 
  • Ability to supervise and motivate others 
  • Teamwork building skills 
  • Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices 
  • Ability to follow procedures 
  • Ability to endure cold temperatures  

COMPENSATION

In accordance with state law, the rate or range provided is Rich Products Corporation, its subsidiaries and affiliates ("Rich's"), reasonable estimate of the base compensation for this role. The actual amount may be higher or lower, based on non-discriminatory factors such as experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, shift differential, and location.
