Job description

Pay Rate: $23.54-$26.75 per hour

Pay within this range is based on experience and education

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Maintain and monitor all residential building systems; performing routine preventative maintenance as necessary (HVAC, plumbing, electrical, etc.)
  • Provide interior improvements such as patching drywall, painting, making repairs to equipment and appliances, etc. as needed
  • Maintain exterior premises of the residential property including snow removal, grass cutting, gardening, tree pruning, etc.
  • Ensure all residential vehicles are maintained properly and that all necessary inspections are completed
  • Maintain and monitor required Life Safety devices
  • Construct simple therapy/residential materials and/or equipment as designed by the treatment team to paint, varnish and/or cover such materials and/or equipment
  • Transport materials and/or equipment between residences
  • Assist in the opening and closing of the pool where applicable
  • Tend to emergencies that may arise
  • Other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Valid NYS Driver’s License
  • Experience in drywall repair and painting
  • Ability to read, write, speak and understand English including interpreting documents such as safety rules and policy and procedure manuals

Preferred Qualifications

  • 6 months to 1 year related experience
  • General knowledge of building systems (plumbing, mechanical, electrical, HVAC, etc.), blueprints and building code
