Hospice Aide

As the Hospice Aide, you will provide support, assistance with personal hygiene and household functions for an individual to be able to remain in their own home.

Primary Responsibilities:
  • Provide personal care and assist with daily living activities such as bathing, grooming, dressing, ambulation, and medication reminders
  • Support household tasks, meal preparation, and accompany clients to appointments or errands as needed
  • Monitor and document client condition, vital signs, and incidents; maintain confidentiality and use EVV system
  • Ensure a safe environment, operate medical equipment properly, and respond promptly to client needs
  • Ability to function in any home situation regardless of age, race, creed, color, sex, disability, or financial condition of the client

Required Qualification:
  • Current driver's license, vehicle insurance, and reliable transportation or access to public transportation
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Current CPR certification or ability to complete within 90 days of hire
  • 6+ months of home care experience
  • Ability to work flexible hours and independently

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). The hourly pay for this role will range from $17.55 to $26.35 per hour based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
