Part Time 20 hours per week
Are you a dedicated nursing professional looking to make a meaningful impact in the lives of individuals with developmental disabilities?
At the J. Arthur Trudeau Memorial Center, we are seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse to join our Residential team.
In this role, you'll be a key part of an interdisciplinary team supporting the health and well-being of the individuals we serve. You will coordinate and monitor medical services, administer medications, provide staff training, and maintain vital relationships with families, physicians, and other healthcare professionals.
What You'll Do
• Provide medical care, training, and oversight in residential settings
• Monitor medications and maintain accurate health records
• Coordinate services with medical professionals and families
• Assist with the training of agency staff in areas such as medication administration, CPR/First Aid, and Safety Care
• Participate in interdisciplinary meetings and safety initiatives
• Maintain compliance with state regulations and agency policies
What We're Looking For
• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
• Current Rhode Island Nursing license
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to travel between sites using your vehicle
• Comfortable lifting at least 25 pounds and assisting with client transfers
• Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities is a plus
