Job description

Join Our Team as a Residential Paraprofessional!

Location: Greenville, NC

Employer: Pathways to Life, Inc.

Position: Paraprofessional - Residential Group Home

Shift: 1st Shift (7:00 AM - 3:00 PM)

Are you passionate about making a real difference in the lives of youth? Pathways to Life, Inc. is seeking a dedicated Residential Paraprofessional to join our new Greenville Group Home team, providing structured support, guidance, and daytime care for youth in a safe, nurturing environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist youth with daily living activities, emotional regulation, and social skill development.
  • Implement individualized behavior strategies, de-escalation techniques, and crisis interventions.
  • Maintain a safe, positive, and inclusive residential environment.
  • Document daily service notes and behavioral observations per agency and NC standards.
  • Participate in team meetings and treatment planning.
  • Some travel required for youth appointments and school meetings.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Valid NC driver's license and reliable transportation.
  • Experience working with youth with mental health, developmental, or behavioral challenges preferred.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to lift up to 25 lbs. and actively engage with youth.
  • Willingness to be flexible with occasional schedule changes as needed.
