Finance Manager Responsibilities

Structure, present, and finalize finance and lease options for customers
Work directly with lenders to secure approvals and competitive financing terms
Present and sell finance products including service contracts, GAP, and other aftermarket products
Ensure all deal paperwork is accurate, complete, and compliant with dealership and lender requirements
Submit deals to banks and finance sources in a timely manner
Verify stipulations are collected and contracts are funded efficiently
Maintain strong relationships with lending institutions and product providers
Review deals with sales managers and sales staff to maximize profitability and customer satisfaction
Ensure all federal, state, and dealership compliance guidelines are followed
Handle customer concerns professionally and assist in resolving financing objections
Support the sales process by helping customers understand financing options clearly and confidently
Track production, funding status, and CIT to ensure clean and timely deal completion

Finance Manager Qualifications

Previous automotive dealership finance manager experience required
Strong knowledge of automotive financing, lender programs, and compliance regulations
Proven ability to structure deals and secure approvals across a wide range of credit situations
Experience presenting and selling F&I products
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in paperwork
Excellent communication, customer service, and negotiation skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
Goal-oriented with a strong drive to maximize profitability and customer satisfaction
Proficient computer and dealership system skills
