Job description

ATIis seeking a highly motivated, qualified, and experiencedGrounds Maintenance Laborerthroughout a new facility located in Springfield, Virginia.


Great Pay and Benefits for a Grounds Maintenance Laborer:


  • Competitive pay rate; $25.00-$30.09 per hour depending on benefits selected;
  • 11 annual paid holidays;
  • Minimum of 2 weeks of paid annual leave;
  • Up to 56 hours of annual paid sick time (based on the Service Contract Act (SCA));

Duties and Responsibilities

Duties may include, but not be limited to, the following:

  • Picking up debris and other trash around the site and prior to mowing;
  • Operate lawn mowers and other grass cutting equipment;
  • Trimming and edging of grass around trees, shrubs, mulched beds, poles, sidewalks, etc.;
  • Mulching and Weeding of mulched beds;
  • Cut/trim foliage and other required basic tree pruning as directed;
  • Operating basic landscaping and other grounds equipment; and
  • Performing other similar tasks as directed.


Required Qualifications and Experience


  • Must be a US citizen and must be eligible to obtain and maintain clearance; Candidate must be able to work independently in a secure or sensitive environment;
  • Must have a valid driver's license;
  • Physically able to climb ladders and stairs;
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team; and
  • Should have general knowledge of weed trimmers and mowers.

Pay Rate:$25.00-$30.09 per hour depending on benefits selected


Location: Springfield, VA


Working Hours:Normal Work Hours - Monday - Friday (anticipate 40 per week). Subject to change based on training demands.
