Here at Grounds Guys, we are looking for someone ready to take a step forward in their career as a Landscaping Team Lead.
Is this right for you?
The ideal candidate will possess a working knowledge of outdoor power equipment to include: mowers, line trimmers, edgers, chain saws, gas powered trimmers, sod cutters, pruning saws and blowers. Must be able to lift 50 lbs., work outdoors, and be able to meet company performance standards. Career growth opportunities are available for the right candidates.
Your Responsibilities as a Landscape Team Lead
  • Assist with and participate in daily on-site landscape projects and tasks.
  • Assist with directing the performance of landscape teams.
  • Assist with the driving and hauling of company trailers.
  • Delegate tasks to team members and assume responsibility for the correct completion of assignments.
  • Mow with zero turns and push mowers
  • Operate weed eaters, edgers, and blowers
  • Ornamental tree and shrub trimming
  • Mulch and seasonal color installation
  • Landscape installation- Shrubs, flower beds, sod, trees, hardscapes
  • Willing to work in varying weather conditions
  • Some moderate lifting may be required

Job Requirements for Landscape Team Lead
  • Minimum of two years' experience mowing residential and commercial properties
  • Must have a valid driver's license and ability to commute between multiple properties daily
  • Excellent communication skills and a positive attitude
  • Attention to detail and constant alertness
  • Ability to work in adverse weather
  • Maintain a safe work environment
  • Comply with company dress code
  • Experience preferred but will train the right person

Pay
The pay range for this position is $22-$25 an hour and is dependent on your experience.
