As a Part Time Golf Grounds Crew Member at the Grand Geneva Resort & Spa, you'll collaborate with supervisors on every facet of golf course maintenance and landscape management, and experience the exhilarating transformation as the golf course springs to life.

What will you be doing?
  • Operate various types of mowing equipment to maintain fairways, greens, roughs, and tees at the desired height and appearance.
  • Trim and edge around trees, shrubs, pathways, sand traps, and other features to maintain a clean and polished look.
  • Apply fertilizers, pesticides, and other treatments as needed to maintain plant health and appearance.
  • Rake and level sand traps, ensuring they are free of debris and properly shaped.
  • Ensure all areas of the course are ready for golfers, including restocking ball washers and ensuring signage is accurate.
  • Remove leaves, branches, and other debris from the course to maintain a tidy appearance.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

What do you bring to the role?
  • Familiarity with lawn care tasks (lawn mowing, landscaping, grounds keeping, grounds maintenance, weed-eating, trimming, raking, debris blowing, hand weeding, garbage/litter pick up, planting, watering, fertilizing, etc.)
  • Flexible availability, must be able to work weekends and holidays.
  • Ability to multitask and efficiently complete tasks.
  • Ability to stand, walk, sit, bend, stoop, and kneel continuously and lift 50 lbs.
  • Must be able to work efficiently with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to work in extreme weather conditions.
  • Comfort with mechanical equipment.
