Job description

As an Airship Crew, you will be pivotal in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of the Goodyear Blimp while traveling nationwide with the airship and team.
Your role is to support all facets of airship operations, contributing to smooth launches, landings, and overall ground handling. You will serve as an ambassador for Goodyear, representing the brand professionally during public interactions and events. This position is essential to maintaining operational excellence and delivering a positive experience for customers and spectators alike.

What You'll Do

  • Work with the blimp team to ensure smooth and efficient airship operations at the base and on the road (up to 120 days/year).

  • Assist with launches, landings, and pressure watches, maintaining safe mooring conditions and airship integrity, including overnight shifts in all weather conditions.

  • Safely handle the airship and passengers, operating ground service equipment such as buses, trucks, and trailers as needed.

  • Represent Goodyear and Airship Operations professionally during public and media interactions.

  • Perform maintenance and janitorial tasks as directed by the Manager of Ground Crew Operations or Assistant Crew Chief.

What We're Looking For

  • High School Diploma or equivalent

  • Valid Driver's License

  • Previous aviation experience and commercial driving experience
