Job Description:
Woody’s Tree Service is looking for a hardworking and dependable Ground Crew Member to join our growing team. This position plays a key role in supporting climbers and equipment operators while ensuring jobs are completed safely, efficiently, and professionally.
This is a hands-on, outdoor position with opportunities to learn new skills, advance within the company, and grow in the tree care industry.
Responsibilities:
  • Assist climbers and operators during tree removals and pruning.
  • Drag brush and feed material into the chipper.
  • Operate chainsaws and other tree service equipment (training provided).
  • Help with rigging ropes and lowering limbs safely.
  • Maintain a clean and organized job site.
  • Assist with loading/unloading equipment and materials.
  • Perform basic equipment maintenance and cleanup.
  • Communicate effectively with crew members to maintain safety.

Requirements:
  • Valid driver's license preferred.
  • Reliable transportation to and from work.
  • Ability to perform physical labor in all weather conditions.
  • Ability to lift heavy materials (50+ lbs).
  • Strong work ethic and positive attitude.
  • Willingness to learn and follow safety guidelines.
  • Tree service or outdoor labor experience is a plus, but not required.
