Job description

Experienced Pet Groomer, Mobile Grooming
Bark & Mane Greater Memphis, formerly Aussie Pet Mobile, is hiring a full time experienced pet groomer to take over an established mobile grooming territory.
This is not a trainee role. We are looking for a dependable, independent dog groomer who can complete quality full grooms, build strong relationships with repeat clients, and take ownership of a company provided mobile salon.
What you can expect
  • Expected annual earnings of $60,000 to $90,000, including commission and client tips. Commission and tips are paid every two weeks.
  • $2,500 signing bonus for qualified groomers. The bonus is paid as five monthly installments of $500 after completion of the first 60 days of employment.
  • A four day workweek with approximately 10 hour days. Regular Saturday availability is required.
  • Primary service territory in Germantown and Collierville.
  • A fully equipped Mercedes Benz grooming van with air conditioning, hydrobath, grooming equipment, fuel, and uniforms provided.
  • Dispatch and office support to manage appointments and client communication.
  • Medical, dental, vision, paid time off, paid holidays, and a 401(k) with company match.
  • A professional, stable team where you can work independently without the day to day distractions of a traditional salon.

What you will do
  • Independently complete full dog grooms, including bathing, drying, de shedding, clipper work, scissoring, and breed appropriate styling.
  • Safely drive and maintain a clean, organized mobile grooming van.
  • Communicate professionally with clients and work closely with the dispatch team.
  • Deliver consistent service and build long term relationships with recurring clients.

What you bring
  • At least one year of paid professional dog grooming experience.
  • Ability to independently complete full dog grooms without on the job grooming instruction.
  • A valid driverโ€™s license and a driving record that meets company insurance requirements.
  • Comfort working independently and driving a mobile grooming van.
  • Reliable availability for a regular Saturday schedule.

Mobile grooming experience is welcome but not required. We will train you on our systems, route operations, and mobile salon procedures.
Interested candidates may ask about a ride along during the interview process to experience the role firsthand.
