Compensation

Job Duties

Assist customers scheduling appointments, answering questions, and bathing, brushing, and drying pets.
This can include, but is not limited to:

  • Greet customers and receive in pets for appointments
  • Schedule appointments for grooming
  • Ensure wellness and safety of pets
  • Prep dogs for grooming:
    • Bathing, drying, and brushing
    • Ear cleaning
    • Nail trimming
  • Perform routine cleaning of salon
  • Assist in shop/self-service area as needed
  • Perform Retail Cashier duties
  • Work under the direction and guidance of the Groomer and Salon Manager to ensure they are performing duties safely and up to Blain’s and industry standards
  • Demonstrate awareness and compliance with Loss Prevention and safety policies and/or procedures
  • Keep work area neat and orderly

  • Great communication skills
  • Prior Retail/Grooming experience preferred
  • Able to work evenings when needed and at least every other weekend
  • Able to pass a background check
