Pay Rate Starting at: Level $19.50/ hr Rates of pay are determined by previous experience and labor contract seniority.
SUMMARY
The mission of all Tops associates is to adhere to the Tops vision of providing a friendly neighborhood store that saves the customer time and money. The night crew manager is responsible for overnight operation of the store. The night crew manager should have full knowledge of product lines and location in store, as well as responsibility for receiving, stocking, rotating, cutting, and marking product.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Follow all Federal, State, and Local regulations as well as company policies regarding nightly operations, safety, and sanitation
  • Adhere to company policy through proper receiving, handling, storing, and stocking of product
  • Assist the grocery department in achieving financial goals such as sales, gross profit maximization, as well as minimization of shrink and supply expense
  • Maintain proper shelf conditions in regards to pricing, cleaning, straightening, rotating, and facing of product
  • Adhere to shelf management as it applies to following suggested plan-o-gram layouts and new/discontinued products
  • Selection, training, development and scheduling of night crew associates
  • File all necessary paperwork required for the night crew department
  • Help keep the backroom clean and orderly by organizing, making bales, stacking pallets etc.
  • Direct subordinates in implementing plan of action and goal attainment

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Must be at least 18 years of age
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
  • Ability to read, write, and perform basic math functions
  • Possess basic computer skills
  • Possess strong communication skills
