Job description

The Key Account Manager will be the key point of contact between pre-defined US customers and GROB and will be responsible for educating customers on GROB’s product line. This position will also be responsible for creating new business. The Key Account Manager will have to develop their technical skills related to the GROB product, knowing in detail what we do and sell, prospecting a successful technical sale in the future.

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Manage relationships with assigned customers
  • Obtain vital market information for marketing/proposal/upper management
  • Educate customers on GROB’s product line & new technologies
  • Support the GROB Team in generating technical & commercial proposals
  • Participate in on-going discussions with GROB Engineering regarding customer product engineering/design/manufacturing

Education & Experience Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s or Associate Degree in Mechanical Engineering
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in automotive and/or machine tool sector
  • Proficient use of AutoCAD
  • Practical knowledge of mechanical design, geometric dimensioning and tolerancing

General Requirements:

  • Self-motivated and team player
  • Excellent organizational and analytical skills
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Suite
  • Willing to work overtime as needed
  • Willing to travel national and international
