Job description

The Grinder works directly with team members to support production initiatives. They inspect products and use hand tools to grind metal parts to ensure the parts are ready for the finishing process.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  1. Operates specialty equipment which may include but is not limited to grinders, hand tools, pneumatic/battery operated tools and industrial hoists.
  2. Produce quality work that meets company expectations.
  3. Reports defective material questionable conditions to department supervisor.
  4. Follow all safety policies and procedures.
  5. Maintain work area and equipment in a clean and orderly manner.
  6. Satisfy the company attendance requirements.
  7. Other duties may be assigned by Manager or Supervisor.
