Job Summary

Austin Grind Coffee House wants you if you are friendly and outgoing. We are currently hiring for all shifts. Open availability desired.
WE WANT YOU IF . . .
- You are friendly and outgoing
- You are honest
- You like to be the BEST at whatever you do
No experience necessary, we will train you on the art of espresso. We'll need you at least 20 hrs/week. Must have reliable transportation.  The ideal candidate is passionate about coffee and is willing to go above and beyond to ensure exceptional customer experiences.
Responsibilities: 
  • Welcome customers into the coffee shop with a smile
  • Take food and beverage orders
  • Explain the menu items to customers
  • Create a variety of espresso-based drinks, from basic to more complex
  • Enter orders into the POS system with accuracy and efficiency
  • Bus tables and wipe down surfaces
  • Maintain a clean work environment
Qualifications
  • Familiarity with food safety guidelines
  • ServeSafe or Food Handler’s Certification or ability to obtain shortly after hiring
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Ability to remain calm in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to stand for extended periods
