Role Overview:

Objective

The Head Technical Product Management Grid Solutions will provide technology leadership and strategicoversight for the Grid Solutions product portfolio within Digital Energy Solutions.

This role acts as the second-in-command to the CTO for the Grid Solutions segment, responsible for driving thetechnology roadmap, innovation programs, and product development initiatives across grid automation and gridintelligence platforms.

The Head TPM - Grid Solutions will lead both:

New Technology Initiatives (NTI) advanced technology development and platform innovation

New Product Initiatives (NPI) development and commercialization of grid software platforms

The role will ensure strong alignment between product engineering, market requirements, and deployment readinessfor global utility customers.

Product Portfolio

You will oversee the technology roadmap & product development for the following platforms:

DERMS (Distributed Energy Resource Management System)

APM (Asset Performance Management)

NeuralGRID Time Series Historian

Utility SCADA Platforms

WAMS (Wide Area Monitoring System)

PDC (Phasor Data Concentrator)

Substation Gateway / Protocol Gateway Platforms

These products form the core Grid Digital Platform stack supporting utilities, transmission operators, and renewable grid integration programs.

Key Responsibilities

Technology Leadership for Grid Platform / Solutions / Product Line

Support the CTO in defining and executing the technology strategy for grid digital platforms.

Drive architecture and roadmap development for the Grid Solutions product portfolio.

Ensure alignment of product development initiatives by evolving utility market requirements, grid modernization programs, and DER integration trends.

Champion platform-based architecture and reusable technology frameworks across grid products.

Leadership of NTI New Technology Initiatives

Lead the New Technology Initiatives (NTI) team responsible for advanced technology innovation.

Key focus areas include:

Grid digital platforms and control architectures

AI/ML-driven grid analytics

Edge computing for grid automation

Real-time grid data platforms and time-series systems

Grid cybersecurity and secure control infrastructure

Responsibilities:

Identify emerging technologies relevant to grid modernization

Drive innovation programs and technology prototypes

Establish technology partnerships with research institutions and industry partners

Transition validated technologies into productization pipelines.

Leadership of NPI New Product Initiatives

Lead the New Product Initiatives (NPI) organization responsible for product development and commercialization.

Responsibilities include:

Product architecture definition and engineering governance

Platform development for DERMS, APM, SCADA, Historian, WAMS, and gateway solutions

Ensuring scalability, cybersecurity, and interoperability of product platforms

Driving product lifecycle management and version roadmaps

Supporting global product launches and market adoption.

Customer & Strategic Engagement

Support strategic customer engagements with utilities, grid operators, and energy developers.

Provide technical leadership during large grid modernization opportunities involving DERMS, SCADA, or

WAMS platforms.

Collaborate with sales and solution engineering teams to shape large strategic bids.

Represent the company in industry forums related to grid modernization, DER integration, and grid analytics.

Organization Leadership

  • Develop strong technical leadership within product teams

Required Experience

  • 18+ years of experience in power systems, grid automation, or utility digital platforms.
  • 10+ years of leadership experience managing product development or technology organizations.
  • Experience leading technical product management for grid software platforms such as: DERMS

  • Grid analytics platforms
  • Wide area monitoring systems
  • Utility data platforms / historians.
  • Experience working with global utilities, transmission operators, or grid modernization program
