Job Summary
The Work Study Student will support the Gretsch School of Music as an Office Assistant on the Armstrong Campus beginning Fall 2026.
Student employees cannot work more than 1300 hours in a 12-consecutive month period.
Employment is contingent upon funding.

Responsibilities

• Live-streams concerts and recitals
• Provides customer service and assists box office patrons in purchasing tickets in person
• Assists in event prep and take down for the Gretsch School of Music, Betty Foy Sanders Department of Art, and the Communication Arts Department
• Hangs posters and flyers

Shift Specifics

• Up to 12 hours per week
• Flexible with schedule of availability
• Some evenings and weekends

Required Qualifications
Educational Requirements

• Must be enrolled in six or more undergraduate credit hours at Georgia Southern University.

Other Required Qualifications

• Must be Federal Work eligible.

• Previous customer service experience

Proposed Salary
$12.00 per hour
This is a non-exempt position paid on a biweekly basis.
