Job description

The Global Real Estate and Facilities (GREF) team provides real estate transaction expertise, business partnering, occupancy planning, capital investment management, workplace strategy and facility operations for Amazon's corporate office portfolio globally. This role is on the GREF Business Partnering (GBP) team who's overarching purpose is to create a bridge between each business unit and GREF to align real estate strategies in support of business objectives. As a Manager on GREF's Business Partnering team, you will serve as a Business Partner (BP) for the Devices and Services (D&S) business unit, working with the org's and GREF's senior leaders.
Key job responsibilities
- Partner across enterprise partners (e.g., Finance, PXT, Public Relations, Legal, Security, etc.), all cross-functional GREF real estate teams, Corporate FP&A, and Public Policy to support executive leaders in managing through ambiguity while inspecting and understanding the consequences of choices and trade-offs.
- Build systems and tracking mechanisms to deliver agreed upon SLAs
- Establish rhythm of business for each org, integrating GREF into business-level OP1/OP2 planning process and WBR/MBR/QBR cadence
- Implement reporting mechanisms to support D&S leaders with data, analytics, metrics, and research to make informed decisions
- Balance D&S expectations and needs with Amazon fiduciary stewardship, as well as cost savings mandates and GREF standards/protocols
- Lead and support the development and delivery of S-team executive-level real estate presentations, recommendations, and business cases; incorporate input from GREF teams to secure decisions and alignment for those presentations
- Oversee issue escalation processes
- Partner with GREF teams and external stakeholders to drive the successful development, implementation, and execution of GREF and D&S strategies across organizations and regions
- Provide thought leadership, industry best practices and market insights to D&S leadership to inform recommendations and decisions

You'll develop plans and strategies that align with Devices and Services headcount, specialty space (ie

labs), and location requirements globally. These will be created and approved in partnership with Devices leadership, business finance and GREF cross functional stakeholders.

Our core objective is to connect business operating plans to GREF's operating plan; to do so, we engage directly with stakeholders across all Amazon business orgs and GREF teams.

As a result, we deliver business real estate requirements, real estate transaction rationale, and business line reporting.
