Technical Skills & Knowledge

  • Understanding and/or interest in fiber-optic cabling, installation, and electrical background
  • Basic computer, networking, and home technology knowledge
  • Experience using industry tools and equipment such as drills, cable cutters, splicers, and hammer drills
  • Ability to read prints and follow color-coded routing plans

Physical & Work Environment Requirements

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys active, hands-on work and being outdoors.

  • Ability to work in confined spaces, including manholes
  • Frequently stoop, kneel, crouch, and work in physically demanding environments
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and regularly carry up to 25 pounds
  • Ability to work flexible schedules, including evenings, weekends, holidays, and overtime when needed


Additional Requirements

  • Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record
  • Ability to maintain insurability under company auto insurance guidelines
  • Ability to successfully pass a pre-employment background check and drug screening
