Description

American Traveler is hiring a Maternal Fetal Medicine (MFM) Ultrasonographer / Sonographer for a 13-week travel contract in Austin, TX, requiring at least 2 years of OB/MFM experience and ARDMS OB/GYN certification.

Details
  • Women's center outpatient clinic setting specializing in Austin Maternal Fetal Medicine
  • Unit staffed by 12 sonographers, 3 nurses, 3 MAs, and 3 front desk staff on days
  • Patient ratio of 6–8 patients per sonographer
  • Procedures include 1st, 2nd, and 3rd trimester scans, fetal echocardiogram, CVS, and amniocentesis
  • Equipment used includes GE Voluson E22 and GE Voluson E10
  • EMR: Viewpoint
  • Schedule: Monday–Thursday 7:45 AM–5:00 PM and Friday 7:45 AM–12:00 PM
  • No call or weekend requirements
Requirements
  • Minimum of 2 years of OB/MFM experience required
  • ARDMS OB/GYN certification required
  • Must have active experience within the last 6 months in the role
  • Fetal echocardiogram certification preferred
  • Nuchal translucency and nasal bone certification preferred
  • License required if applicable
  • SSN and DOB required for consideration
  • One professional reference required (two required for candidates from Florida or Missouri)
Additional Information
  • Perform obstetric ultrasounds across all trimesters, fetal echocardiograms, CVS, and amniocentesis procedures
  • Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility — no local candidates will be considered
  • No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
  • Required scrub colors: Moss Green top and Black bottoms
  • Permanent positions may be available on the unit
