Green Acres Lawn Care and Landscaping
Location: Belvidere, IL

Are you passionate about lawn care and enjoy working outdoors? Green Acres Lawn Care, a family-owned business celebrating 20 years of service, is looking for an Aeration / Overseeding Technician to help us keep thousands of clients across the area with healthy, lush lawns. With over 40 employees, we’re proud to be a trusted local provider dedicated to quality, integrity, and treating our team like family.

What You’ll Do:

  • Operate aeration and overseeding equipment on residential and commercial properties.
  • Prepare lawns by aerating soil to improve water and nutrient absorption.
  • Overseed to help lawns grow thicker and greener.
  • Identify lawn areas needing attention and deliver recommended solutions.
  • Perform routine equipment maintenance and safety inspections.
  • Work outdoors in various weather conditions, following safety procedures and using PPE.

Ideal Candidate:

  • Experience with lawn aeration and overseeding is a plus.
  • Having mowing or ride-on equipment experience is a big advantage — if you enjoy working with mowers, you'll love the work involved in aeration!
  • Knowledge of lawn health and turf management an advantage.
  • Strong work ethic, reliable, and punctual.
  • Physically fit and capable of lifting equipment and working on uneven terrain.
