Description Title: Lecturer (Latin) Position Number: pending Hiring Unit: College of Arts, Languages & Letters, Languages and Literatures of Europe and the Americas Location: Manoa Date Posted: May 9, 2019 Closing Date: Continuous Salary Information: Minimum $1,978 per credit hour; commensurate with experience. Full Time/Part Time: Part Time Temporary/Permanent: Temporary Other Conditions: For placement in lecturer pool for Fall 2025, Spring 2026, and Summer 2026.Contingent on course offerings (ranging 6-12 credits per semester), sufficient enrollment, position clearance, and availability of funds. Duties and Responsibilities Teach Latin classes; Greek and Latin literature and culture in translation

Minimum Qualifications MA or equivalent degree in Classics or a closely related field; experience teaching Greek and/or Latin at the college or university level. Desirable Qualifications PhD in Classics or equivalent.
