Job description

Scrum Master - AI DeliveryAbout the Role

Nimble Gravity is looking for an experienced Scrum Master - AI Delivery to help drive predictable, high-quality delivery across complex AI and technology initiatives.

This role is ideal for someone who combines strong Agile leadership with hands-on project management skills and is comfortable working across technical teams, business stakeholders, and leadership.

You will help teams stay focused, remove blockers, manage dependencies and risks, and create visibility into delivery progress - while continuously improving how teams plan and execute their work.

What You'll Do
  • Lead Agile ceremonies across one or more AI or technology delivery teams, including sprint planning, stand-ups, retrospectives, and backlog refinement.

  • Partner closely with Product Managers, Product Owners, Engineering, Data, and AI teams to ensure priorities and sprint goals are clear and realistic.

  • Own delivery planning, milestone tracking, dependencies, risks, issues, and overall project coordination.

  • Identify and remove blockers across teams, including technical dependencies, data access, integrations, security reviews, and shared services.

  • Track delivery metrics such as velocity, throughput, cycle time, and unplanned work to identify risks and opportunities for improvement.

  • Protect sprint commitments and help teams manage changing priorities without losing delivery focus.

  • Coordinate work across multiple teams, stakeholders, and external partners when needed.

  • Provide clear visibility into project status, risks, dependencies, and delivery timelines.

  • Communicate progress and potential issues clearly to both technical teams and senior stakeholders.

  • Lead retrospectives and continuous improvement initiatives to improve delivery predictability, collaboration, and quality.

  • Coach teams on Agile best practices while encouraging accountability, ownership, and effective collaboration.

  • Support project governance and executive-level reporting across AI initiatives.

 What We're Looking For
  • 6+ years of experience in Scrum Master, Agile Delivery, Project Management, or similar roles.

  • Experience working with technical, data, AI, or software engineering teams.

  • Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and Scrum practices.

  • Solid project management skills, including planning, risk management, dependency management, and stakeholder communication.

  • Experience managing multiple projects, teams, or workstreams simultaneously.

  • Strong facilitation, communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to identify blockers and proactively drive them toward resolution.

  • Comfortable working with senior stakeholders and communicating delivery status, risks, and trade-offs.

  • Experience using tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, Confluence, Microsoft Project, Smartsheet, or similar.

  • Comfortable working in fast-moving environments where priorities can evolve quickly.

 Nice to Have
  • Experience supporting AI, Machine Learning, Data, or Analytics initiatives.

  • Experience working in consulting or client-facing environments.

  • Experience working in regulated industries or complex enterprise environments.

  • PMP, CSM, PSM, SAFe Scrum Master, or similar Agile/Project Management certification.

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.

 What Success Looks Like

You bring structure without slowing teams down. You anticipate risks before they become blockers, keep stakeholders aligned, and help technical teams deliver consistently.

You're comfortable navigating ambiguity, asking the right questions, and taking ownership of delivery - not just facilitating meetings.

At Nimble Gravity, we value people who are proactive, collaborative, adaptable, and willing to jump in wherever needed to help the team get things across the finish line.
